Rolled Gold (Which will be released on the 12 November), the highly regarded album overview of the Rolling Stones classic early years, has been updated, expanded and enhanced after 37 years. The collection is finally set to be released on CD as well as other formats as Rolled Gold+ from UMTV in association with ABKCO Music & Records this October.
Rolled Gold+, a two CD-set, includes all of the Stones tracks that were part of the original Rolled Gold vinyl LP plus an additional 12 tracks that were not included in the 1975 retrospective release. With a total of 40 tracks, including all of the biggest hits of the first ten epochal years of the Stones' recording career, Rolled Gold+ is an essential collection that explains just how the group earned the right to be called "The World's Greatest Rock 'n' Roll Band." Beyond such Stone standards as "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," "Jumpin' Jack Flash," and "Get Off of My Cloud," Rolled Gold+ offers insight into the band's blues and R&B roots with Howlin' Wolf's "Little Red Rooster" and Chuck Berry's "Carol," their psychedelic phase highlighted by "Ruby Tuesday," "She's A Rainbow" and their country influences with "Wild Horses" and "Let It Bleed."
