Advice on new fence

Hi all,
We are wanting to put up a new fence and change some existing panels that have broken.
The new fence needs planning permission which we are on with, and we are trying to get some quotes for the new fence in the meantime. This is where I’m hoping you advice can come in!
Due to work schedules, timescales, DIY knowledge etc, it would be easier for us to get someone in to put the fence up (we know it would be much cheaper to DIY, but it’s the toss up between time and cost, and at the moment we value our time more.) That being said, we don’t want to be ripped off or pay over the odds.
We need about 33m of fencing erecting, and 1 gate. We are looking at a simple fence design, just wooden panels to the floor, 6ft high. No concrete posts.
We have had 2 quotes so far
1) £2.5k including labour, materials and skip hire.
2) £6k - obviously this guy just didn’t want the job!
Does anyone have an opinion on whether the £2.5k quote seems reasonable for that amount of fencing? We are planning on getting 1 more quote too.
Also, in case it’s relevant we like in the Midlands.

Ballpark figure should be about £50-£60 per meter. That's how it's priced where I am. That's for 6 foot slats, panel prices are similar.

When enquiring ask the per meter price as it's a fixed sum, you can also google the cost for that in your area.

Just in case you are interested in the DIY price, I bought some fencing from a local timber co who's panels were of a better quality than the sheds. Overlap 6x6 panels, posts, postcrete, caps and I used screws to fit to make removing panels easier. Works out at just under £40 per erected panel. So a 33 metre run would need 18 panels at a cost of £720. Plus the gate and where I live a skip would be £150 to 250 depending on size. So check what kind of fence the £2500 quote is for and it may not be a bad deal.
