Pretending to be a student for Adobe apps?

Hi all,
I know this might be a bit of a dodgy move but I'm trying to get my start-up off the ground at the moment and I'm in the process of building my website, creating an explainer video etc and my Adobe free trials have run out. I really do like the software but paying monthly for all the apps (full price) is pretty steep for me at the moment.
Do they actually check to see if you are a student? I'm a recent graduate but unfortunately I don't have access to my uni email anymore. It seems like at worst if they check it and you can't confirm your identity they will just cancel your subscription?
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks!

What apps are you thinking of? Could free or cheaper alternatives replace some of them?Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0

It's mostly Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects, I've been making my website explainer in After Effects & so it would be kind of annoying to lose it. There's no plan that encapsulates all 3 (except the "all apps" subscription).
Their website says verification may be required after purchase and so I'm not quite sure what to think of it. I feel like a bit of an idiot as I binned my old student ID card pretty recently which didn't have an expiry date on it!0 -
Of course they're going to check. Usually you have to provide (and verify) a student email address to get a student discount. Even if you get around it somehow that's fraud, especially as you're purchasing for business use...0

This question by the OP might well be one of the MSE weekly newsletter's "Moral Dilemma's"?0

So what happens if they send an unlock code to your uni email address?
I've known people sign up to the cheapest course at the Open University just to get a uni email address  (not me, I hasten to add, my OU address was genuine!):heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

You can get genuine used CS3 off ebay for less than £250.
Or if you can do your video in Premiere instead then you can get PsE and PrE bundled for about £130 and use Inkscape or one of the old Serif apps for the vector graphics.0
