Mis sold PPI from 30 yrs ago

Hi

I’ve recently tried to claim back PPI from approx 30 years ago..I had loans with Alliance and Leicester and every time my loan would be coming to the end I topped it up and I know i was mid sold PPI for numerous loans over quite a few years...however after writing off for information to Santander they tell me their historical data doesn’t go back that far and they have no record of any of my loans..is there anything else I can do or anyone that can help with this or has my search ended for good? Thanks in advance for any information

If neither you nor they have any records, there's nothing more to be done.

Thanks.....no I don’t have anymore information as I’ve moved house twice since then so everything would have been shredded...I’m unlucky anyway so expected not to be able to do anything about it...it’s frustrating as I know I had PPI and I was told it was a necessity...anyway thanks again
