Hi,

I am quite good at keeping on top of my energy and making sure that I switch to a cheaper tariff when there is one available.

I am interested in taking a look at LAMB so that I can see what is offered.

However, I would not want them to switch me after signing up unless I feel it is worth switching from my current supplier/tariff. I.e. I am currently on a £0 exit fee 12 month fixed tariff so can switch easily if needed.

Can I sign up to see what it is like without the worry of being switched?

It doesn't sound like there would be any benefit for you to sign up to them.

When you do your own comparison you will be able to see the full range of tariffs from all suppliers (assuming you use an all of market comparison site).

LAMB will only show you tariffs from their selected suppliers that pay them to switch people so they make a nice profit. They also keep all the cashback so you will lose out if they do switch you because you can often get some of this cashback for yourself from other sites.

So in summary LAMB will never be able to show you a cheaper tariff than you can find yourself and you will almost certainly pay more (when you considering lost cashback) than if you switched yourself.

You are told when you are being switched and you get the usual 14 days cooling off period to cancel such a switch direct with the supplier.

You also have to let LAMB know you have cancelled the switch you authorised them to make.
