PCP Finance of new car not on HPI check
I bought a brand new Suzuki Vitara using Suzuki Finance PCP in December last year. Sadly the car had to be rejected 25 days later, I wrote to Suzuki Finance to tell them I was rejecting the car, they told me to take the car back to the dealer, I did this and got a new replacement car.
After 2 months the online Suzuki Finance website was showing my rejected car still, but showing that payments were being taken. Sadly at this time I had trouble with the new car, I wrote to Suzuki Finance that I was having problems and also told them that the old car was on the Agreement still. I received a phone call from Suzuki Finance, they wanted to know about the fault with the car, I told them about my old car being on the agreement and they said they will sort it.
The fault with the new car is sorted but I’m not happy with so I went to Hyundai Bradford this morning to get a price for a Kona. They did a HPI check on my car and said no Finance was on it, I gave them the registration number for the rejected car and no Finance was on that either !!
They told me (not sure if true) that a customer came in last week, put both set of car keys on the table and said she was returning her car cause it showed she owned nothing on Finance (she did though) and she just walked out. The dealer told me to go back to The Suzuki Dealer and return my car !
What should I do ?
Ps just checked my account on the Suzuki Finance website and it’s still show rejected car.

Just because there's no finance showing on a HPI check doesn't mean there isn't finance secured on it and that you can just decide not to pay. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
