Missing rewards

Barclays has just announced a hiking of the monthly price for its Blue Rewards scheme so some people might be thinking of switching to another bank to get a better deal. And when you do switch, you'll probably find that your final reward is credited AFTER you've switched to your new bank.
So, everyone, make a note to chase Barclays for the outstanding amount, once it's been credited. I chased this up when I switched, by the way, and Barclays paid up fairly promptly.
The same thing is likely to happen with Natwest cashback if you switch away, which can take up to SIX weeks to be credited to your Rewards Wallet. By that time you won't have access either to your Natwest current account or to your rewards wallet. Natwest customer services assures me that they will credit the cashback to an account of my choosing when it has been paid. But I will need to contact customer services.
Santander has a cashback account, too. Maybe I'll try them next.
Don't lose out, folks!
