Happy weekend all!
So I stayed on budget for my 2 nights out- I budgeted £50 for both - £19 the first night and £30 the second. I had to leave early as my grandad is in hospital so I left £30 on the table to cover it. I would work out my meal to be about £20 so if I don’t get anything back I would have tipped £10!
Today
Farmbox delivery arriving- no plastic and local veg
Make mealplan
Shopping
DD at football tournament
Maybe a walk to a RHS gardens with our membership

I hope everyone had a great weekend.
We booked flights for our holiday in August- we have booked the south of Italy. No accommodation decided yet but at least we know where we are going!
Dinners from stores over the weekend
We went for a food shop and spent very little
Today we got up late, had eggs for brunch, I visited my grandad in hospital and then we watched a bit of telly this afternoon - so a chilled day!

Woohoo - my colleague gave me £5 change from my meal on Saturday so I was £6 under my £50 budget for the 2 meals out!
It really helped give me a focus to sort a budget for my nights out as I made decisions based on it.
Did I want a gin and tonic or water- if I have water I can afford a pudding....meant I stayed in budget (FYI I went for a gin rather than pudding - better for the waistline)

Morning diary!
Yesterday evening was a lovely one- my cousins art project was amazing, my Grandad was looking so good when I visiting him (back to his cheeky self), I stayed on plan food wise yesterday and hubby and I had a nice chilled hour in front of the tv
Also I lost 3lbs which i am pleased with as I went out for dinner twice last week and I stuffed my face on Sunday!
Deciding whether or not to start swimming again- the membership for the hotel I go to is £30 for the year and then you pay £3.50 a time. It’s £30 a month to go whenever you want but I’m not sure id go often enough. Just feels like a selfish expense........would be a boost weight loss wise and it’s something I really enjoy.
Today
DD1 finishes GCSEs- her last day at school has got me a bit emotional
Fish and chip take away as a celebration- I have £5 refund from school and £6 left of my going out budget to put towards this- I’ll just have a halloumi burger
Walk at lunch
Finish at 2.30pm so a short day at work
Pay some bills
Reconcile spend
Collect my earrings that I bought that are now in stock
Batch cook a beef casserole (mostly veg as only 200g beef)
Decide how to cook the cauliflower from a few recipes I’ve found
Research pickling beetroot so we don’t waste them
Lunch from stores- left over tuna and jacket from last night
Use up last of my oat milk for breakfast - it’s been open a little longer than I’d like but I’m sure it will be okay!
