Ebay Private Sellers Selling Limit.

Just checked my sellers limit today and it shot up from 12k / 100 items to 27k / 400 items.

Is this done automatically as I did not request an increase , it just got me wondering what is the maximum selling limit they would offer to a private seller ?

There is talk that some private sellers have millions as their selling limit.

I've never requested an increase in the selling limit on my private eBay account. It is currently stating "10000 items remaining in May". Curiously, the value is "only" £26,500, so less than yours.

The most I've ever sold in a month was probably in the order of 50 things during a massive clear out, and I can only dream of having £26.5k of sales. But then, my account is a real private account. I can't believe that any "true" private account would have a monthly turnover of tens of thousands of pounds.

Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.

My selling limit is £200 million / 2 billion .. I've never requested it and never sold anywhere near that much, didn't even notice the limits until I logged in on my laptop (usually use the app on my phone). Not sure how they work it out, my account is quite old and never had any issues.

Where do you see this on a private account (which tab/page?)? I've never come across this info before, curious now.

It's on your selling dashboard when you log in on the computer, mine is in one of the boxes down the left hand side near the bottom but you can rearrange the boxes I believe!

So seller hub-> overview- I see the "boxes" but none with any selling limits. Can you tell me the name of the relevant "box" pretty please? Maybe they're hiding it from me! I've literally never stumbled across this info even though I thought I was reasonably familiar with the seller hub.

I am able to view the page by clicking on MY EBAY - SELL ( from the left column ) then ALL SELLING from the drop down menu; . This should bring up - Monthly selling allowances
