Spirit of Yorkshire are located at Hunmanby, near Filey, and are passionate about every step of the distilling process for Yorkshire’s first single malt whisky. The barley and spring water they use is grown and sourced on their farm, for a local and sustainable beverage.
We’ve got two adult tickets to a one-hour distillery tour up for grabs, where you’ll be able to explore the copper pot stills with an expert guide on hand to talk you through the unique distilling process. Learn about the founders of Spirit of Yorkshire and the distinctive casks which mature the whisky, before rounding it off with three tasters of their delicious maturing spirits.
They currently do not distill on Wednesdays, Saturdays & Sundays. They regret children under the age of 6 are not permitted on a distillery tour. There are steps throughout the distillery so if you have trouble walking and/or standing please contact us prior to booking.
