Alternatively can you claim from your courier.
1. If they say they have destroyed it unlikely
2. Most couriers would exclude pottery from a claim due to the likelihood of damage in transit - check the contract or T&C's.
Bit of an eye opener to the pitfalls of buying online, they can do this to anyone.Mr Generous - Landlord for more than 10 years. Generous? - Possibly but sarcastic more likely.0 -
Hi Everyone
Thanks for your comments firstly. After a couple of weeks of harassing Victorian Plumbing on every platform I could, they have finally agreed to refund me the money.
This was a thoroughly painful experience, and I would recommend either triple checking that your purchase from Victorian plumbing is correct so you don't have to send it back (God help you if the product you buy is actually broken when it's delivered based on the reviews I've been reading), or just don't buy from Victorian Plumbing.
If this does unfortunately happen to you, don't give up. In my case it took a long time and a lot of aggravation to get a simple refund despite me doing everything correctly and to the letter, but I did get there in the end.0 -
Nice business model that. Item is damaged and we've had to destroy it so you need to take our word for it. Excellent way for the more unscrupulous company to deal with factory damages.0
