Hargreaves Lansdown payout

I looked back but couldn't see a Hargreaves thread.

My Lloyds shares were paid out on Tuesday. I want it withdrawn to my nominated account. I click this option but it says no cash to withdraw, even though it shows a cash balance.

Is it automatically paid out now? (Not that anything has yet) Because I've usually manually processed it.

Do you not need to transfer from income to capital (or whatever it is called) within the HL account to be able to withdraw it?

I find the HL website far too complex for my liking!

What do you mean by "paid out" ?Do you mean a dividend or you sold them or what?

I thought that you normally need to wait for the "settlement date"?

Even thought you have sold the cash balance is only available to buy new shares at this time.

Once the settlement date has passed you will be able to withdraw the funds.

I'd have thunk that 2 overnights would've been enough to get the monies into the withdrawal side of your account automatically (I'm never patient enough to wait though) - try the move money menu option below, and if you need to, get on the phone.

Pick whichever account > Cash > Income & Loyalty Bonus > and, if there's an Income Account balance showing, use the transfer balance to capital a bound link below.

It's not instantaneous but you should see it as withdrawable in a wee while.

Lloyds paid out 4th April, but HL kept it until 21st May. It's in my income and loyalty bonus section, separate to my shares held. I asked for HL to pay out to my nominated bank account, but it hasn't gone out. I've usually manually requested for it to be paid out to my bank account and it's usually done at the end of the day.

Did you try moving it manually? While I have had to wait, it's never been more than a full day.

Lloyds dividend was paid on the 21st May not in April (that was the ex-dividend day). Still unsure though why it is unavailable to withdraw
