I have printed this and will show hubby tonight. We'll then be armed with this when the original engineer turns up tomorrow. BTW is there something saying that when the guy turns up, he should show us his CORGI registration??? We've never thought to ask before!!
Hi.. your CORGI should carry his/her card and show it to you... http://www.trustcorgi.com/bewareofcowboys/whatcanyoudo.htmx
Good luck for tomorrow.

I'm so excited....the boiler situation is sorted..................
We have a new Combi Boiler system being finished off as we speak............so good to have hot water back!!!!! And the heating will be back on today....just have to have a quick lesson on the all singing all dancing remote controlled controls from the engineer...................when I get home
Then the clear up operation will begin!!!0 -
We've been with BG for 15 years on their Homecare contracts. Boiler broke down last week and we've been without hot water or heating 6 days now.
Customer service diabolical. Broken promises. So much for 'peace of mind in an emergency'
Sorry for sounding off on your thread, but I'm very upset with them.
Ditto for me. Been with them for 4 years. They did come out the night it broke and then phoned next morning and said it needed a new part and booked to come 6 days later. They have been this morning and replaced 200 part and also had £200 part replaced 4 years ago. Even allowing for those 2 parts and labour it probably would have been cheaper to have independent plumber to service and repair. Unfortunately this new repair is just a few days into this years contract so probably can't cancel for this year but will consider it for next.0
