Hi, i now have an IPO to sign but OR has also asked for last 6 months bank statements, my partner has refused to give over his financial details but he got his wage paid into my account (for reasons that i wont detail here), can i refuse to give bank statements over as this will show his income?
Thanks

No, you can't refuse. If you tell them you can't / won't they'll just order them from the bank anyway (and, to be honest, be pretty suspicious that you're trying to hide something).
Have you told them he earns less than he does?0 -
i told them he didnt want his income included and they said ok. they didnt ask me how much or if he earns more or less0

So what is it that you're worried about exactly? The OR will only consider your household expenses as 50% of the total, and they can't increase your IPA as that would mean your husband would be paying it and they can't enforce that.0

They have taken it as 50/50 but my husband gets paid more than me, im concerned that when they see his pay in my account they will change what i have to pay, despite the fact my husband pays out a lot of his own debt0

No, you are the bankrupt and it’s your income only they can assess for a surplus. Don’t worry, they cannot make you pay more as then it will be coming from his income.0

It would be unwise to P*** off the OR.0

The bank statements are pretty much one thing the OR will base your situation on.
1.5 years in IPA and I just submit my bank statements automatically.
I understand their reasoning, if you fed up they want to evidence. If you are hiding they will know.
Be honest and real!0 -
Do you have payslips / P60 that you can submit to the OR to confirm which income is yours?0
-
Did you submit your SOA with the income of you and your husband at around £1500 each as you proposed to do in a previous post? If so then the OR is going to see the true figure for both incomes from your statements and wonder what you might be playing at? It may be that your partner doesn't want his income to be revealed to CSA? I don't think that will happen through the OR so it is best to be upfront and honest.
Out of interest, have you previously posted as KEHxxx? as that poster had similar concerns re: partner's income and refusal to state his earnings to the OR.0 -
I didnt state my husbands income at all, pre interview i told the OR that he didnt want it taken into account and the OR said ok we assume 50% and didnt ask again. And no, not posted before. My partner income is automatically declared to CSA through HMRC? My concern is that once the OR sees the income she will calculate the percentage split.0
