Can you still claim bank charges

Can you still send in a new claim for back charges please.

    Yes.

    You can, but if they get to the stage where you are ready to take the bank/building society to court, you are likely to have your case *stayed* - basically told to wait for the outcome of the test case. When the test case comes to its conclusion you will have done most of the work if you are able to claim. If you aren't able to claim however, you may have lost some money if you have paid to take them to court. I am not sure if that is refundable.

    It is slightly different if you are in Scotland however. (I have no idea why my text has changed) In Scotland you can take your bank to court and judges are not staying the cases, because the test case is under English and Welsh Law, not Scottish.
