gallup weedkiller . its concentrated same ingredients as round up.)
Absolutely no advantage in using a higher concentration than recommended, unless you are dealing with Japanese knotweed.0 -

My preferred weedkiller - the Xtra Tough version though.
(I use this on Equisetum arvense successfully.
As previously mentioned, it is systemic so even though effects may not be visible for several days it is working, don't pull it up though, leave it alone, don't even work near the roots because if you break the roots that haven't yet died fully it can resurrect.
Eventually you'll be left with dead roots that are black and crispy).
Not a cheap, nor quick, fix, you'll be in it for the long-haul, but it works !0 -
Does Roseate clog the sprayer, ie do you need to flush thru after use? And what is its shelflife?0

If I remember correctly, the American cases involved farmers and people who used it by the bucket load and were quite likely slack with the use of safety gear. Its a world of difference using hundreds of gallons on a tractor sprayer and the domestic one using litres. I use Gallop about twice a year and only millilitres at a time. It keeps the weeds down on our nursery. One thing I try to do is always spray when there is no wind, prevents fallout.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I'm constantly switching between non-selective and selective sprays. If I didn't flush, I might have unwanted results. :eek:0 -
It's also ok to just leave a dilution in the sprayer, if you don't need the sprayer for anything else. I've had a solution sitting there for a couple of years, as I use it only occasionally.
Got to keep that ground elder at bay.0 -
Just pointing out that the blurb with Roseate does say always spray out, ie do not keep once mixed.0
