Waiting for the bin and the recycling box to be emptied today so that I can fill them again and after taking a load of stuff up the attic now have a pile more to go up, grr! Will really, really, really have to get on sorting out up there as well as beginning to have visions of the ceiling falling in with the weight of all the stuff up there!

Doing quite well really, only have to go up the attic (will do while DD at youth club) and do the little bit of ironing that is in the basket.
Got into a tricky situation - climbed into bedroom window to clean it, managed fine but REALLY struggled to get back down - hope no-one was watching from outside!

I am just over the moon as they have really bent over backwards for me: i have to work 12 days between 4th jan (when the funding starts) and 1st march when i start full time, but some of that will be able to be from home etc. just so good to know that we will be fine for money and can hopefully rent the nice little house OH is seeing tomorrow (fingers crossed!). it looks lovely from the pics and like a proper little home for us, and away from the main road which i am fed up of living by!!
i have a long meeting tonight but i bet i will contnue to smile all the way through it!

Hi everyone!
I am absolutely shattered! That'll teach me to stay up late on a school night! I went to a makeup party upstairs, and we all got talking, and I didn't go to bed til gone midnight and I had to be up at 7am!
In answer to your question about the supply teaching Jill, it is going quite well although it seems like I've been doing it a lot longer than 3 weeks now. I was in one of the schools I liked today all day, with year 1s, but the schools I'm in tomorrow and Friday are tough schools, so I'm not looking forward to the end of my week. I'm hoping that I'll start to be given some easier schools soon, as I seem to be given tough ones most of the time, cos they think that I can handle the children well, which is nice to know, but it is a lot more stressful for me, and my voice is really feeling the strain.
That breakfast with santa sounds really nice - shame about the idiot in the cafe though - I can understand him being a bit stressed if he was on his own, but that wasn't your fault, and he should have realised that you had a lot to cope with with the little ones.
Congratulations to tia and mumofjusttwo on your anniversaries. Hope you have a nice romantic evening.
lil_me I hope that your face is feeling a little better.
LJD1 I'm glad you've managed to block those numbers.
embb I forgot to say the other day, that your hamper looked really nice - where did you get the box for the contents from, cos I've got some Lush bath stuff that was given to me last year, and I need to re-wrap it so that I can give it to somebody who will appreciate it?
Well jacket potatoes are in the oven and have 15 minutes left to go, so I'm looking forward to having cheesy beans jackets with yellow stickered caesar salad from Sainsburys (75p) for dinner. Think it'll be an early night tonight for me.

Feel shattered now. Have only just got the kitchen straight. Still have swish and swipe to do and have made no progress on today or yesterdays' list. Got to do the football run in a minute and then get DS3 ready for bed. Oh well tomorrow is another day.
Really missing DS2 on his school trip now.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
