Parking fine UCS Recovery Final Reminder email

I received a parking ticket last year in Windsor. I had purchased a ticket but my son was majorly sick on the walk back to the car and I was having to change his clothing as well as help him as he was still being sick on the pavement less than 4 metres from my car when the parking attendent placed the ticket on my car. I called out to him as I was alone with 3 children under 8 and as he ignored me I sent my 8 year old daughter over to explain that I was currently cleaning sick off my son and changing his clothes in the car park before I could move the car as we were then going home to Wales. He said as he ad already issued the ticket he was unable to do anything but that when it arrived to explain the situation and everthing would be fine.
I did exactly as he said and appealed. They had photographs of my car and the displayed ticket on the windscreen which showed it was only over by 10 minutes. Unfortunately my appeal was denied.
I then found this website and read most of the threads that said to ignore the following letters.
I have now received an email from USC Recovery saying that they will be sending a Field Agent out to my home unless I telephone them on 03332005341 by this Saturday 25th May 2019.

Assuming that no Court claim has been issued then this is just another debt collecting attempt and can be ignored

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so complain to your MP.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

I cant remember the name of the company that sent the first letter, but it wasnt the land owner.
I received an email this morning from UCS. This is the first time I've been contacted by this company.


The email reads


Your case is due to be passed to a field agent who will be arranging a visit to discuss repayment options with you.


If you would prefer to discuss this over the phone, please call us on 03332005341 by Sat 25 May 17:00 and quote your Vehicle Registration Number & reference.

I wonder if the agent will be out-standing in their field. Will they be delivering a field or coming to collect one? If the latter, they must have a lot of room to store them.

I wonder if they have doorstep collectors who come and collect your doorstep as well.

They are debt crawlers. Post 4 of the NEWBIES tells you why it is safe to ignore them.

Does the letter say who they are acting for, in other words, the name of the PPC?

Have you complained to the landowner? Have you complained to your MP about this unregulated scam?

If this is regarding a private parking charge and not been to court then they cannot assume any so called debt.

Don't phone them, they will then act as phone bullies

Email back stating you refuse them access to your property and should they ignore this, you will immediately call the police to escort them away and off your property

It's simple, the law is on your side. Some of these sewer living debt collectors are just ignorant muppets

Well you won't be telephoning them and they won't send an agent to your field.

This is a typical scam letter, ignore it.

But the letter must say who they are acting for...the PPC. Tell us.
