Switching banks & linked accounts

Hi - I'm planning on switching our current account from Barclays to Triodos. It looks straightforward enough - my only concern is the three linked savings accounts we have with Barclays. If we use the switching service, will they also have to close at the same time as the current account?

If they’re linked to the account or for customer that have an account with Barclays then yes they will be closed, though not necessarily immediately0

It will depend on the T&Cs of the three accounts. If they stipulate that you must have a Barclays current account as a pre-req, you'll have to close the three accounts. If there is nothing in the T&Cs, updating the linked account to your new current account should suffice. You should ask Barclays.0

As above, if they require you to have a Barclays current account as the linked account then you'll have issues. If not, then just make sure to let them know of the linked account change after the switch completes and it should be fine.0
