hi not sure if this is the right section but ah well
i have been offerd a settlement arrangment of 7k at work tax free a belive they sed
n they will pay me my notice in one big some 10 weeks wages
just like to know has i am getting it paid in one big some am i gona get hammerd in tax
my annual income is 18500 if this helps

The tax will be a percentage of the payment(s). If you get it in smaller amounts over a period of time or all at once you will pay the same tax, just feels more of a blow if it's all at once
