Hi, I have my DLA to PIP Appointment this Friday, so i would like to pick the brains of the good people on here.
As to what to take with me apart for ID, letter and pen and paper.
Also are there set questions they ask ? Do i ask ? Do they know the outcome at the end ? Do they tell you ? Do i ask ?
Also am i right in thinking that DLA is still pay until the letter arrives with the outcome of my Appointment/Assessment ?
Many thanks in advance for.

You'll be asked questions on how your conditions affect you against the PIP descriptors.
No, they won't know the outcome at the end and no they don't tell you anything. The report will be written and returned to DWP with recommendations in it. The decision maker will then make a decision based on the assessment report and they usually go with it.
About a week after the assessment you can ring DWP to request a copy of the report. This will give you some idea what the decision is likely to be because they mostly go with the report.
Your DLA will continue until a decision's been made on the PIP. Decision times can be anything from 2-8 weeks, sometimes longer.0 -

Hi, Poppy, There are no boxes at the back with dots in.
What i have is the list of Activity, the Descriptor and a tick in the box of A B C etc.
Which i think is much the same as you said. Thank you0 -
