Floor first?

Probably a silly question but in anticipation of renovating the downstairs loo at some point this year - Is it sensible to put the new loo and sink in before the flooring, or put the floor in first and have the loo / sink on top?
Looking at possible having wooden type flooring through the hallway and loo.

Usually its floor in first as that way you can change the rest as and when you want to, if you put those in first you may end up with gaps if you go for larger basin, bath etc.0

Wood laminate / vinyl is normally cut around the loo/sink and sealant is used around the edges.
Not sure about proper wood flooring though.0 -

Sorry but you are wrong.
I run a property maintenance company and have fitted hundreds and hundreds of square metres of laminate flooring I my time.
The loo and basin need to come out and go back in once laminate (or wooden floor or tiling) is done.
Only vinyl / carpet is cut round the pan and basin.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
