Tesco club card plus

I know this has been posted on this site before because it's where I got it from but I feel that it could be of interest to newcomers.
We are on a DMP and therefore we do not have much of an entertainment budget so following the advice on here we applied for a tesco clubcard plus account (08457 10 40 10). I then pay my weekly allowance for food and petrol into it and use it for those purchases. Since there is no overdraft facility ( my choice) I can only spend the amount available and therefore keep within the budget.
Tesco give you 2 points per £1 when you use a clubcard plus card instead of the normal 1 and therefore our total points award has now doubled. The best bit is that when we get our vouchers we trade them in for Deals vouchers which are worth 4 times the face value so our original £14 amount of tesco vouchers is now worth £112 in deal vouchers:j.
We have close to home Cafe Rouge, Bella Itallia and a Greene King pub (where we will go for our anniversary meal next month). If we save them up for a couple of quarters we could have enough deals vouchers to go away for the weekend to a Marriot or Thistle hotel weekend all on Tescos.
Since we have a Tescos right next to where I work and there petrol is cheaper than where we live we are saving all round.
It might be said that Tesco are taking over the world but personally I'm not bothered if it helps me
