I get my interenet through ADSL connection. For the past few weekend the ADSL light on my modem goes out and loses my internet connection. I've rang BT they did a line check and said there wasn't a fault on the line it must be my ISP to blame. My question is which one is to is at fault BT or my ISP?

Could I suggest that you check the 'integrity' of your micro filters also: make sure they are not damaged, loose, knocked about. I've seen this happen from time to time.

Running from an extension can cause problems as the wiring often introduces noise that interferes with the adsl signal.
Try connecting at your master socket, or the test socket under the faceplate, as this will eliminate any extension wiring.
