PCN Recieved for Overstay - Courtesy Car

Hi,
I have read through the NEWBIES post however I am still unsure what the best plan of action is for a courtesy car.
So I whilst my LEASE car was in a garage (which the leasing company referred me to) I was provided a courtesy car by the garage. I received a PCN (Parking Charge Notice) from HORIZON PARKING through the post, date issued 8th May 2019. This was for an incident that took place on the 27th March when I was the "hiree" of the courtesy car. The PCN was issued for "Overstay duration of 4hrs 1min" via ANPR.
This took place in a private car park in North Greenwich - IKEA carpark.
The PCN is for £70 discounted to £42 within first 14 days.
I have had the garage call me prior to the PCN being delivered to the door saying they were redirecting the PCN to me as I was the hiree. Does this now mean they are completely out of the loop?
If I refuse to pay will the garage receive another letter? Will they pay? If they do, am I required to reimburse them? Will they charge my leasing company? Will my leasing company charge me?
I have fought PCNs before as a private car owner but not with a leased car, it has become rather complex now, what is your advice? How can I get this PCN cancelled? Will it be simple enough to say there was insufficient signage/small letters etc or perhaps I should appeal on basis of mitigating circumstances?
Thanks.

Use the special appeal templates written by Edna Basher.
See the 3 links near the bottom of the NEWBIES thread post #1.
NOT the Fleet Manager one(!) the OTHER links under the section about lease/hire cars.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks for the reply
OK so I should appeal through Horizon Parking online appeal with the below template
Template appeal for BPA or IPC members - copy this wording into the online appeal box::
Re PCN number:
I dispute your 'parking charge', as the keeper of the vehicle. I deny any liability or contractual agreement and I will be making a formal complaint about your predatory conduct to your client landowner and to my MP.
There will be no admissions as to who was driving and no assumptions can be drawn. Since your PCN is a vague template, I require ALL photos taken and an explanation of the allegation and your evidence, i.e.:
- If the allegation concerns a PDT machine, the data supplied in response to this appeal must include the record of payments made - showing partial VRNs - and an explanation of the reason for the PCN, because your Notice does not explain it.
- If the allegation involves an alleged overstay of minutes, your evidence must include the actual grace period agreed by the landowner. If you fail to evidence the actual grace period that applies at this site or suggest that only one period applies, this will be disregarded as an attempt to mislead. In the absence of evidence, it will be reasonably taken to be a minimum of twenty minutes (ten on arrival and ten after parking time) in accordance with the official BPA article by Kelvin Reynolds about 'observation periods' on arrival being additional and separate to a 'grace period' at the end.
- in all cases, you must include a close up actual photograph of the sign you contend was at the location on the material date.
Formal note:
Should you later pursue this charge by way of litigation, note that service of any legal documents by email is expressly disallowed and you are not entitled to assume that the data in this dispute/appeal remains the current address for service in the future.
Yours faithfully,
THE NAME AND POSTAL ADDRESS OF THE KEEPER (OR THE HIRER/LESSEE) GOES HERE.
