Spark Energy - Final Bill

After some advice with Spark Energy, was with them from April 2018 to April 2019. I gave a meter reading when I moved into property which i have a photo of on phone. In April 2019 I switched to Bulb and submitted meter readings on the switch date. Shortly after I received my final bill from Spark for £695. I instantly got on live to chat to Spark and they admitted it was wrong and said they never put the original meter readings on account back in April 2018. They had records of me submitting the readings through live chat. So they said they will reconcile.
The new bill came through today i still owe £151 which i am relived about its much better than the £695, however its only for period November 2018 to April 2019, when I queried this they said they can only go from November because they went into administration.
The April to November part will be reconciled eventually but has to go through administrators and cant say how long this will take.
Although i never submitted any readings from April 2018 till i was leaving a year later, the meter did get read twice by spark but no record of these readings are on my account.
I believe under the circumstances Spark should wait for final reconcile to be done for the 12 months as it was the error of Spark which caused all this by not putting the readings on my account. But they are saying if i dont pay soon the account may be passed to a debt collection agency, Should I pay? Do I have a case not to pay until they sort the full account out?

    Any balance due from April 2018 to 27/11/18 would need to be paid to KPMG as the balance is owed to a company that is no longer trading (Spark Energy Supply Ltd) and any balance from 28/11/18 to April 2019 would need to be paid to Spark Energy (as part of the OVO group). I'm sorry if it's a bit confusing, but rest assured we're happy to help you with this, just drop us a line.
