I am concerned at the email link you followed in a random email and also by the fact that Amazon say they haven't yet charged you.

Although a scam from a third party seems a bit unlikely for less than £20.

As above I have never ever been charged or had any funds held by Amazon until the item has been despatched.

    Wrong thread? :D
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride

Update - the parcel had already been sent before the posts re insurance (in hindsight arguing over the cost of the ins would have been cheaper than the cost of the whole parcel) however...luckily, it did get there safely signed for on 22 May. I waited for acknowledgement of receipt but having heard nothing emailed again stating the items had been received, that I had emailed the postage invoice, and was awaiting a timeframe to receive a refund, and finally received an email on 27th at 9pm apologising for the delay in getting back to me, confirming receipt of the goods and saying they could refund by giving me a call the next day (28th) and doing a card refund over the phone or they would put a cheque in the post. I replied on 27th to say phone call as I am at least 30 miles from a branch of my bank open on a Saturday when I would be able to deposit a cheque. I received no call on 28th or to date. Is the next step the credit card, how long do you wait considering I originally reported faults 18th April a day or two after receiving the goods.

Sorry, just realised that I have two logins/accounts, I think this came about when I lost my password probably created a new account as I couldn't log in, and mixed up the two. I am the same person as tracey28, I was updating on the issue with the lamps and wireless charging
Apologies for the confusion, not sure how to go about merging the two.

Maybe worth noting you can deposit cheques at a post office free of charge.
