Received a letter from. Gladstones solisitors. Regarding parking debt.

Hello.
I was wondering if anyone could give me some guidance. Or help.
So basically i use to go The gym and the gym had partnered with a private parking called Elite management(midlands). Which provided parking for gym memebers. So you had to buy 1 hour of parking and you get another hour and half free. So basically 2.5 hours of parking. Last year all of a sudden they changed to their system to Number plate recognition system. Which i wasnt aware of firstly. But as soon found out. But as you park you car and pay for an hour. U have to register your number plate on a tablet inside the gym whithin 10 mins. Which i wasnt aware of( the 10 min). To get extra 1.5 of parking. I had 2 parking charge tickets last year in may 2018 which i appealed as it said the parking ticket was expired. When i only used car park for Hour and half. whereas i am meant to be given 2.5 hours of parking. So 1 hour was still left. I also believe i did input my REG into the tab inside the gym. After that i had many ltters from dept collection department called. Zzqs which i ignored then it moved to QDR solisitors. Which i also ignored. After that. For 8 months ish. I didnt hear back from them.
-TODAY i received a letter FROM GLADSTONES solisitors regarding both parking tickets. Telling me to pay or they will be taking me to court.
-The QDR solisitors also sent me letters regarding these 2 tickets at first last year.
-Both letters has different amount. To pay.
-There is no signature on gladstones Solisitors letter
-Why is Gladstone solicitor is contacting. When elite management told QDR Solisitors to collect the money.
Months ago.
-Does that mean elite mangement changed to Gladstones solisitors?
What should i do. Should i ignor it. Or calll them to discuss ?
Because im not paying.
Yes i still do have parking ticket which i had bought. And also some evidence to fight back incase they take me to court..
What should i do ? Help

Any chance you could make that more readable by applying some paragraphing. We are reading up to one hundred threads, some with multiple posts, each day. We try to avoid headaches produced by poor formatting, often caused by the use of a phone rather than a laptop or PC.

Even an iPad can lay posts out perfectly adequately.

I notice it's Elite Management - there's important information to impart about them, once we can get to understand the detail.

To whom does the Gladstones letter tell you to pay? Please check it carefully.

Does it give you 30 days to respond and enclose a number of information sheets and a financial details form to complete (which you shouldn't do)?

Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams so complain to your MP.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully life will become impossible for the worst of these scammers, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.
