ATOL Magic Breaks

Hi, we have a booking through Magic Breaks for a hotel stay at Disneyland Paris. We paid the initial deposit and have since paid the balance on a debit card. It appears Magic Breaks are owned by Thomas Cook so could be heading for trouble. We made the remaining payment on a debit card and when we received the email receipt it said this is the receipt for your non atol part of payment. If magic breaks go under is that our money and booking gone?
Thanks in advance

Do you have flights or Eurostar? Atol protects the flights so if your going by train then you won't have Atol you need Abta protection. If you do have flights they won't be Thomas Cook ones so no worries there.0

What makes you think that?
They are not by the way.0 -
Magic Breaks based in London is part of Freedom Travel who in turn are indeed owned by TC. However is a separate company and unless TC is holding lots of money owed to Magic Breaks, then even if TC failed, and that seems unlikely unless everyone panics and stops booking with them, Magic Breaks would continue to trade.0

I stand corrected.0
