Article to PDF and back.

I have some short articles, and links, that I would like to change to PDF so I could insert in a list on a FB page. Presumably then when clicked, they would open up. However, this is something I've never done before, so could anyone guide me please?.

What format are they in now?

If Word, then some versions have a 'save to pdf' in the save menu. If not, there are a lot of site that will change the .doc(x) into .pdf for you.

Libre Office, which is free, has the option to export to pdf.
It'll open most file types too.

You can just print to a .pdf file from any application just choose Microsoft Print to PDF as your printer from the drop down selection.

If they are working hyperlinks in your original document then they will work in the .pdf file as well.

Or you can try a website like ilovepdf.com - they have a lot of other useful tools for working with and converting PDF documents.

Just remember that the 'print to pdf' options probably won't produce accessible pdfs, if that's important to you.

You'll probably need a commercial pdf editor for that.

That's assuming your source documents are accessible in the first place of course.

OK, one step forward, one step back.

I installed Libre Office on Chromebook, entered the first of the articles, downloaded it to PDF, picked it up (somehow) but not in the shortened version. So somehow inexperience is failing me.

Ideally I want to be able to copy the short PDF link to place on FB page, then anyone can open it.
