Best Joint Bank Account?

Hi all,
First post on the forums so hello
My girlfriend and I are looking to open a joint bank account, we separately bank with Natwest and Halifax and we would like to keep these still independently.
But what joint accounts would you recommend opening for us? Any that will offer good benefits for us to switch or any benefits for joint account holders? We would use the account to pay numerous direct debits.
Kind regards,
Daniel

Welcome to the site.
Remember that any joint bank account will financially link the two of you together.
If it's mostly a bills account, might suggest one that pays cashback on those bills, eg 123 Lite, Natwest/RBS

Another route would be to see if a packaged bank account (ongoing cost per month) would be of use, one that includes eg mobile phone insurance, travel insurance etc. As a couple they are better value (if you would make use of/have these things regardless), and can save you money. A FlexPlus account also pays you in-credit interest up to £2500.

Nothing to stop you having multiple accounts to make use of different benefits.
Look out for cashback/referral incentives to switch to any account also.0 -
