Autoaid price increase £48 to £60 .. timing ??

went on their website on monday 13th to order at £48 pre the "order before price increase ,by 11.59pm tues 14 may" as mentioned on this site............
to discover price had already gone up.
Came on mse site which said "it has been pulled early" .
Emailed Autoaid to voice displeasure .... their reply ...
"Thank you for your message.
Our dates have actually never changed, we do not control the content of third party websites and they had been advised they were giving the incorrect information. We have never stated you would be able to still purchase this policy up till 11:59pm Tuesday 14th May. "

Just think... If companies really DID have to honour an incorrect price because somebody else advertised it, I could just bung a website up that give a wrong price for anything I fancied buying... and bingo!0
