in Is this quote fair?
Hi I have been quoted £1100 for an extension which will involve a 4m2 area being knocked down and my kitchen being extended into it instead (Victorian terrace with outbuildings)
I have no concept of if this is good bad or the norm would anyone be able to advise? Your opinions would be greatly appreciated

    Get other quotes.
    Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.

    Is this for plans and planning submission?

    I have had plans done for single storey extension to 5m , cost me £450 and £226 for planning submission.

    Next are building reg drawings (inc calcs for beams) at about £595.

    Whats the quote include? I would guess thats the cost for a planning application type plan.

    Building regs plans will be extra plus the cost of a structural engineer ontop.
