CUVVA car insurance

Anyone have experience of Cuvva car insurance. My daughter needs to borrow my car for about a month and my current online policy only allows adding for rest of the year and at £1K for 6 months its a bit expensive ;-( so looking at Cuvva who do short term cover on top of my own policy. I didn't realise this was possible but wondering if there is a catch that I can't see.

Anyone have any experience of this company.?

I can't help with Cuvva but we have been using veygo to insure our daughter on a tempory basis on our car. The max you can do is 30 consecutive days.

Cons are £750 excess but you can pay a few pounds extra to drop excess to £250. Also, you need to take all around photos of the car before policy starts otherwise they will load you with an extra £250 excess.

We looked briefly at Cuvva but at the time it did not cover 18 year olds.
