These are quite complex topics, if you are a web designer and coder you'll be ok, but if you are a novice, this is going to need a steep learning curve.

I'm not sure you can show the status of your messenger login on a webpage, unless you are running the webserver from your PC, and it gets the status and publishes using an ASP page, unless there is a simple link to the MSN status system.
