Chip savings & Co-Op

Options
Since Chip has stopped DD facility all transactions appear as "purchase" on the statements. I wonder whether this "purchases" will be counted as "debit card spending" for rewards purpose?

Nope. But my guess is that CPAs don't count. Well, it was a long shot!

Right, because it's much better just to guess than to ask the people who would actually know.

Do you guess this based on these words from the COOP T&Cs?

Luckily I've got a working Post Office Online Saver which has a weekly direct debit set up, and it lets me do a manual one if a weekly one might not make it into a particular moth due to bank holidays etc.
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

Because "the people who know" usually want me to call during the office hours, to clear the security, then keep me waiting, read from the script, and never able to explain the reasoning behind their answers.
