. . . The good news would be, that if you accept their £150 goodwill offer, you debt will be £425, which is below the £500 threshold, so they won't be able to object to any transfer,:)
Since there were no "Outstanding Charges" due to your supplier at the time of the switch request, they were not in a position to object in the first place.Warning: In the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

Not great for their cashflow if they have supplied you with something but you still haven't paid for it.
Another example of a customer not actually keeping up with the status of their account and actual usage. Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts. Although I do carry out careful research before posting and never intend to mislead or supply out-of-date or incorrect information, please do not rely 100% on what you are reading. That is just not helpful, friendly or supportive. Which is what this forum is all about, isn't it?? Never had any problems yourself? I don't believe it.
Never had an incorrect bill in 30 years and 4 months at this address.
I read my meters every month and if the DD is either over or underpaying I contact the company and negotiate a change.
I am now paying by Monthly Direct Debit Whole Amount and pay for my ACTUAL use in arrears, the Smart Meter takes care of sending the readings.
As for being supportive, sorry, cannot support people who bury their heads in the sand when actually keeping an eye on energy usage is so easy.0
