Surely you mean, More proof that ANPR is unfit for purpose.

As for the Mucky D's spokesman, he is lying. Their third party parking control companies DO NOT operate within strict British Parking Association (BPA) code of practice.”

The Advertiser contacted UKPC Ltd but received no response.
    Quelle surprise!

    Appalling arrogance, driven by greed.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

If face with that situation, I would go in with a fact based reply/appeal/challenge, something along the lines of

There is obviously an issue with your camera system as the vehicle was not on site for the duration you claim, therefore you have not carried out adequate checks, and must cancel the parking charge

When that gets rejected, go in with a similar appeal/ challenge to POPLA maybe adding a little bit about being at work elsewhere and using the vehicle to get to/from work
when that gets rejected go back to the PPC and state that they have accessed details without just cause using an inacurate system breaching the GDPR regulations.

when that gets ignored, and the usual crap from the likes of DRP etc starts to arrive go for the Mc Donalds Franchise / franchisee with an LBA
