The one at Union Square in Aberdeen was open 2 days ago.0 -
Marston Green has a lot of spaces and is only a 2min train ride away (station is at the end of the airport runway). No chance of a space on weekdays. However, we always park at Birmingham International. £9 and a nice indoor walk to the NEC across the road.1

I've found that some exhibitions/shows have free parking and others have paid parking - often at the same time! The signs when you arrive direct you into the appropriate car park for the exhibition you're attending.
Check what other shows are on at the same time as you're visiting, and then find their website to see what the parking charges are.
If you find a free (or cheaper) one, follow signs to that, then after you get the bus to that show walk over to the one you actually want to go to.0 -
We went to the exhibition yesterday and parked at Resorts World. Got a breakfast at Patisserie Valerie and had ticket validated so parking was only £2.
It was a good solution but I have to say the food and service at Patisserie Valerie was very poor. With hindsight, I wish I'd researched whereas we could have spent £20 to get the parking for £2.
But thank you for that suggestion. We didn't then need much food during the exhibition as I sometimes find that it isn't that good. Having said that, the cakes in the actual hall were yummy and very generous portions!0
