Sharing a facebook album with a non-user

I've a photo album on facebook with the privacy set to just me. I want to share this via an email link with a friend who is not on facebook.
I'm sure I used to be able to do this but I can't find the option in the menus. Is it still there somewhere or is this a feature that has been removed by facebook?

Can't do it if the pictures are private. Just saved the pictures to your device and email them0

Your friend could set up a Facebook account turning off as many options as you can find, which could be used as a sort of "read-only" account.0
