ECS PCN - draft to appeal help

First of all - thanks for your ongoing support. I’ve got an HQ email so I’ll try again but not much hope left to be honest.
With that in mind and just in case - would you be so kind as to scrutinise popla appeal?
Also - can ECP drop the ticket even after POPLA unsuccessful appeal i.e. in case retail hq was more helpful and wanted actually to intervene.0 -
Highly unlikely, but if you lose at POPLA you will be ignoring ECP anyway.can ECP drop the ticket even after POPLA unsuccessful appeal i.e. in case retail hq was more helpful and wanted actually to intervene.
The point is that it is dead easy to (usually) be insistent enough to get a PCN cancelled pre-POPLA, which is why it has to be now, this week, and a complain to the top.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

So the initial appeal was refused (dated on the form) on the 17/07 - to avoid confusion what is the last they when can we submit appeal to POPLA?0
-
But you said:
So you mean the rejection was 17th JUNE? If so, then you have till Saturday daytime (day 33 in fact) and in my experience of buring the midnight oil when doing POPLA appeals for people, the POPLA code will stop working about 2am Sunday morning.Martinez83 wrote: »28 or 32 days - it doesn’t unfortunately really matter in our case - we have received the appeal rejection letter nearly 4 weeks ago while being outside the country for short holidays and the personal reasons so we have lost a lot of time...Hence popla is our only choice now...
So that gives you every working day this week till 5pm Friday, to make complaint phone calls an escalate it to the highest person, not giving up till someone agrees to cancel it and prove it has been done (e.g. ask them to copy you into their cancellation email).PRIVATE 'PCN'? Hi All,
unfortunately no luck with escalating the issue to HQ of the restaurant (no response again) so we had no choice but to go to POPLA with the draft I have shared with you early last week.
Surprisingly - ECP has already responded to the appeal so we have now 7 days to get back on that. Would you be so kind as to advise how to tackle that next?
Also - FYI - our MP decided to respond but bearing in mind how far this case has progressed I don’t think they will be able to help us anymore... :-(0 -
It's now back to post #3 of the NEWBIES thread.Martinez83 wrote: »Surprisingly - ECP has already responded to the appeal so we have now 7 days to get back on that. Would you be so kind as to advise how to tackle that next?
This time you should be reading the words following the heading:AFTER SUBMITTING YOUR POPLA APPEAL:0 -
Ok - I have my response ready but it appears I can only use 2000 characters? Is that correct? I probably need twice as much so do I need to be that concise?0

Yes.Martinez83 wrote: »...do I need to be that concise?
As mentioned in that part of post #3 of the NEWBIES thread that I pointed you towards earlier:YOU REALLY MUST COMMENT, BUT KEEP IT VERY CONCISE TO FIT COMMENTS IN THE PORTAL.0 -
Ok - just wanted to be clear. Thanks

Which restaurant was it? Are you sure they're the landowner? (Sorry if this info. is in the thread somewhere). Just wondering whether you've correctly identified landowner & the CEO. Even though you're well into the POPLA process, it may still be worth persevering with the landowner complaint.
Re. the more pressing issue of your comments on ECP's 'evidence', what kind of 'evidence' have they supplied? Let me guess - a multitude of images of signs? And did they provide a copy of the landowner contract? That needs careful scrutiny if so and if there isn't one that's a win for the Keeper.0
