Using Credit Card to Make Money

in Credit cards
Hi All,
I'm looking for any advise on how people out there use credit cards to make a little bit of money back on them.
I've had an Amex Gold CC in the last 12 monhs and the Amex Nectar CC at the minute. I only earn 0.5% back in Nectar points at present.
I can't take advantage of any of the Amex offers becuase I had/have those cards.
It looks like the best cashback card is 0.5% cash.
Interest rates are not great at the minute, so using a 0% purchases card and 'stoozing' may not be worth it.
Interested to see if anyone else takes advantage of credit cards in any other ways?
Thanks!

Used to be a lot easier back a while, but now I think the best you can do if you have had the Amex offers is 0.5% cashback eg Tandem CC.
Plus of course you get interest-free purchases from purchase date to the pay date on your statement (provided you pay it off in full of course!).0
