When I started my PC this morning and opened Google Chrome, I had a message advising me:

"Another programme on your computer added an extension that may change the way that Chrome works.

It can:

  • Read and change all the data on the websites that you visit
  • Manage your downloads
  • Communicate with cooperating native applications"

The options given are to either "Enable extension" or to "Remove from Chrome"

Can anyone advise, please, which of the two options should I select?

Remove from Chrome ... unless you really want Acrobat to be your default reader in Chrome. (Chrome handles PDF files natively very well).

Sounds like you recently installed (or updated) Acrobat and it has auto-installed its Chrome extension.
