what are these used for? Can they be used on roses?
I use in pots before planting up, around fruit bushes, anywhere that needs a bit of a boost + slow release. They pong a bit so don't apply if you have a BBQ planned that dayEight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -

Chicken pellets are a fertiliser.
Not had my chickens for about 5 years but there is still very clear patches where their run went as it moved around the lawn. Grows much quicker and is incredibly green.0 -
Just don't use them on ericaceous (acid-loving) plants like rhododendrons, azaleas, camellias, blueberries and heathers.
You may want to top up chicken pellets with an additional potassium fertiliser e.g. sulphate of potash, but you could always alternate!0 -
