Travel Insurance for Driving to place in France

I've had a search around the site and couldn't find any details fr my circumstances.

Myself and my girlfriend are driving to a place in France in August.

Booked the ferry and the place is a friend of my girlfriends parents.

My car is insured for Europe and I will extend the breakdown cover for Europe.

What do you recommend Travel insurance wise, Economy is £16 with Insure and Go but i'm a little worried as they are tailoring to flying places.

I don't intend on getting the ferry hi-jacked.

I guess the re-patriation cover would cover getting my car etc back to the UK if anything happened.

Cheers

Travel by air or by car = no difference as far as travel insurance is concerned. The main cover is for medical costs and this still applies to car travel.

Now if you were travelling by submarine or yak or intergalactic spaceship that would cost extra !
