Hi, we are just waiting for our completion certificate - 6 years in IVA. We are looking to sell our house soon, would this be affected by the IVA even though it is finished?

Once you receive the completion certificate then selling your house wont effect anything.

    Well done.

It will if you do it before your get your completion certificate as you your IVA is still active. Wait until you have your IVA completion certificate.

Also worth considering is whether you are looking to buy another house, as getting a mortgage will be difficult whilst the IVA is on your credit file.

Thanks for your reply, we're not going for another mortgage we have other plans. Just wanted to make sure once we get the completion certificate.
