no
ask what the enquiries are
ask the agents to be provided with a copy of them
ask the agents to ask the people who havent answered them to answer them and to copy them in when they are emailed (not posted) to the relevant solicitor
ask the relevant solicitor to email (not post of DX) the relevant replies to the person who asked them
Outstanding enquiries could be dealt with in a few minutes (unless they are very complicated). Find out what they are before cutting off your nose0 -
So close I would not be too concerned but you do need to be proactive .. Find out what exactly is holding things up0

How can they not be aware? Why hasn't your EA been progressing the sale?
Your EA should have been keeping tabs on you, your purchaser, and everyone else in the chain - and keeping everyone informed.
Either your purchaser is fibbing about not being aware of a planned exchange date, or your EA is completely useless.
Edit to add...
It's conceivable that a problem showed up shortly before the planned exchange date... but saying they didn't know about a planned exchange date sounds suspicious.0 -
I feel your pain, hope it gets sorted. We have been living with a house full of boxes since our sale completion fell through end of February. We need the sale to purchase a property so are stuck0

Probably some last minute hitch. They'll you'll never the know the reason for. Relax, you'll soon get over the line.0
