BACs Payment taking longer than usual

Options
Good afternoon all,

My company pays our expenses by BACs payment, they sent the payment on Friday and it is always in my account by Wednesday morning, I haven't received it this morning, could it just be a day late or should I contact my employer?

Many thanks,

Spencer

It could be a technical issue at your bank (or less likely at Vocalink) causing a delay, but it'll probably be quicker to ask your employer if they have delayed payment for any reason (and if so, why).

If it were me, I would query it with my employer if the expenses reimbursement had not arrived on the normal day.

And welcome to the forum :)

  • I have just spoke to employer and they haven't delayed the payment? Also spoken to the bank and they just said to speak to your employer? Thanks for the reply!

Did your employer tell you that the payments were processed on time last Friday?
Perhaps they were late and missed the cut off point meaning they should be in your account tomorrow?

Do you know what time they sent it? They may have sent it after the cut off time in which case it would arrive tomorrow.
