Santander Plevin Letter

Hi folks first time posting.
My husband claimed misselling of ppi about 8 years ago. We only applied to the lenders that we had any paperwork for. We were successful with a few lenders HFC being the biggest think it was about 4K. We also claimed for a store card which was with river island. We were rejected and we never thought more about it. Anyway we have moved house and 12th April out of the blue 2 letters (same account number) but 2 different reference numbers asking if we would like to apply for plevin on this card. I did this very simply online. This letter / much easier system prompted me to look at other lenders do thank you Santander even though I have no idea how they found us. Anyway aha the point. How has anyone who have received this letter got on ?? Many thanks

Those who qualified under the commission rules have received a refund of the amount over 50%.

Those who didn't, haven't.

Thanks. I guessed that just looking to see if anyone has been successful after receiving the letter and how they got on. Shocked that they actually sought us out to send this letter as wouldn’t have the address.

Should be nothing "shocking" about Banks now following (to the letter) directives from their Regulator. The PPI scandal has cost them literally £billions.
