Lake District- Mountain biking and Sea Fishing

Hi ,
We’ve never been to the Lake District and was just wondering if anyone can recommend a location that would have good sea fishing however not too far from mountain bike trails/rides?
I’m really not sure if this is possible but it’s worth an ask!

As there's been no reply, I'll pitch in despite knowing nothing about fishing.


By sea fishing do you mean from a beach or a boat out at sea? There are harbours at Workington, Whitehaven and Maryport that may have boats offering fishing trips if you have a google. These are all fairly close to the Lake District.
